Jean-Sébastien Simonoviez is a French pianist and composer, renowned for his talent and creativity. With a rich and diverse career, he has collaborated with musicians from around the world, blending various influences to create unique and emotive music. His passion for jazz and world music is reflected in each of his compositions.

The Borderless 5tet is a musical exploration that transcends borders and cultures. Recorded in Bangkok on January 30, 2024, it brings together exceptional talents such as Quyen Thien Dac on soprano sax (Vietnam), Jakob Dinesen on tenor sax (Denmark), Indra Gupta on double bass (Indonesia), Pong Nakornchai on drums (Thailand), and, of course, the composer, arranger, and pianist Jean-Sébastien Simonoviez. Mixed by Nguyên Lê, mastered by Bruno Gruel, and artwork by Bruno Tanquerel.

The Borderless 5tet will be released on October 3, exclusively on a limited-edition vinyl of 300 copies and digitally via Absilone distribution under the Hative Records label.
